He also talked about all the All-Americans they face in the SEC. I'm sure he's faced tons of them as the #2 WR on the team :lol:

Since they don't play themselves (unless he's counting practice) LSU has played against a second team AP All American CB in Brandon Flowers and a third team AP All American LB in Xavier Adibi. Interestingly enough, both players are from Virginia Tech who, the last time I checked, weren't in the SEC.

I'm not sure how this statement is compatible with what Tim May said (that Washington is suspended and is appealing the suspension). If Washington really were suspended, then it's not true that "This is it," and it certainly isn't true that OSU is "not expecting anything more than what you have right now," as I presume that the default assumption when a player is suspended and is appealing is that he will remain suspended. May's article simply doesn't jive with what Poe said yesterday. Someone is wrong.

This may also be pasted inside every helmet of our secondary. Byrd may find himself having to back up those bold over-confident words soon. Never under-estimate the competition. Never. Did someone tell Byrd that the Buckeyes defense is ranked #1? Respect is owed here pal.
