Cleveland Indians (official 2012 season)

The Mariners aren't exactly the 27 Yankees, but it will be interesting to see how this team now hits against a staff that isn't lollipopping offspeed pitches with the wind blowing out.

Yeah, well, the reality is, the Royals shouldn't be as bad as they showed.... damn they hit some balls a long way yesterday though.

Anyway, I don' think the Tribe is all that good, but, at least it's kind of like we're back to "Do-Over" time at 4-4.

The White Sox thing was bad, but, hell, if they can beat the hell out of the Central at least we can keep it interesting, and that's all I care about right now... keep my attention for a bit.

The Royals pitching staff is horrible...everyone touts the "young stars" the Royals have, but they apparently have forgotten you also have to pitch. They are as bad as they showed in that way, and they still piled up some runs like we did...they just have one of the worst Staffs on the planet.

That said, the Mariners are sort of the opposite...decent pitching, terrible hitting, so this will be an interesting series. They need to beat all of: the Central not named Detroit, the Orioles, the Mariners, and the A's, and beat the [Mark May] out of all of them, because if they don't, they are never going to get enough wins against the other 7 in the AL to make up for it. So every series against substandard teams is like a playoff series for the Indians.

The Royals have had all these touted prospects over the years but apparently they all turn to [Mark May] and never do a damn thing at the MLB level, as evident by their 27 year playoff drought (and 1 winning record this century)

The Tribe tend to struggle on the West Coast, the Mariners and As offenses do make the Tribe's lineup look high powered though so hopefully they can win those series'

Baltimore's pitching is just as bad as the Royals so hopefully they tee off on them when the time comes as well

I guess we'll have to wait a bit more.

He got screwed on a ball call to walk in a run, then after that it was all downhill...this is a fluke outing i believe....no need to worry about justin

Umm... this is 2 starts in a row that he hasn't been able to keep his pitches down. Kind of a high strike zone tonight, dunno if he's getting under the ball or what. Not a velocity issue.

masterson gives up 6 in one inning and the tribe answer back with 6 in the next frame...weird

Millwood basically got iced sitting on the bench. He went from pitching reasonably well to missing with his fastball and hanging everything else. Second thought, did it warm anyone's heart to see Carl Willis take so many trips to the mound for the other team. It's like, "Oh look, it's Carl. That's good for a dinger" - I've seen it before.

Like I said...the bats would wake up soon as the starting pitching went in the tank. Just happened sooner than I expected.

Masterson needs to sort himself out. Lowe is only good till the break. Like I said, I expect nothing, I just wnat to be amused as long as possilbe.. At least they play hard.
