Cleveland Indians (official 2012 season)

just something to keep in mind folks, Acta is just keeping the seat warm (IMO) for Mike Sarbaugh (55) who has won 6 Championships coaching in the Indians minor league farm system he was also in Major League II

Zack McCallister in 12 IP has a 2.25 ERA with 12 Ks to 5 walks
Nick Weglarz has 8 Ks in 14 AB
TJ House pitched a 2 hit Shutout in his first start of the year in 7 innings with 9 Ks and 1 walk
Jesus Aguliar is so far showing last 2 years have not been a fluke and still crushing the ball
Former scrappers Jordan Smith, Tony Wolters and Fransisco Lindor are struggling to start the year in LC, Wolters is batting .095.

Dillon Howard i think will start at MV but will move up through the system fast, you just dont see many 19 year olds with 3 well developed pitches like he has.

Lindor is certainly not struggling, he is 18 years old and playing in his first full minor league season.....in his first 5 games with Lake County he's hitting .304 with 2 triples and 3 stolen bases.....great gap ability (switch hitter with gap power from both sides) capped with good speed, he's certainly one to be excited about

.304 in 5 games isnt anything to write home about reguardless of age for the money he was paid and how high he was picked. you also forgot to mention he has 0 doubles and HR which means that his 2 3B are more then likley a product of bad defense by the other team then his good hitting. he also has 2 Errors already he also strikesout more then walks

not impressed one bit yet

It's his first full year in the minors, you really expect an 18 year old kid to come in right away and be a superstar? Lindor is not going to be a big time power hitter everyone should know that, he will probably be somewhere between 10-15 HRs per year.

not saying Lindor is going to be Derek Jeter, but Jeter hit .210 and had a .919 fielding % in his first full minor league season.

this has to be a joke. of course, you stated that the offense of a team with a collective batting average of .167 isn't at fault for losing, so, I don't know that I really take anything you say seriously.

Well, so much for past success being a predictor of future success, I guess. Maybe he'll get the quantum leap guy to be the hitting coach and we'll time warp back to the late 90's.

Masterson would probably like to hit the reset button about now.

3-0 Sox and he hasn't gotten an out yet.

Well, he got an out. It cost him another run, though.
