I would agree except the fact that it's Joe Smith, and this is what he does. The sooner we get the flamethrowing kids up and turds like him and Durbin out, the sooner we are an actual contender for something.

As soon as they put in Joe Smith I was like "what the hell?" Sure Perez could have giving up the same crappy infield hits, but when I think of Joe Smith I don't think of good pitching. Hopefully there are some kids that can bring the closer mindset to the Indians pen. I would love to have 2 or 3 guys that you can put out for the final innings and know that if you take the lead into the end of the game they will get the job done. I don't watch a ton of Tribe games but Chris Perez is the only one out there that makes me pretty sure that he is going to hold onto the game. Every game might not be pretty, but chances are he'll get the save. IMO when he's on he's more capable of getting the easy save than the Wickman's and JoeBo's of the past.
