Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

Phew, pull it out...21-9

But, this leaves an unsettled feeling in my stomach. Perez hasn't been right for a couple of weeks now...actually, seems like his velocity has been down a few mph all year. I'm serious about the Borowski comparison. He'll get it done most of the time, but he'll probably scare the piss out of us regularly and occasionally implode in spectacular fashion. I'm starting to wonder if Hagadone isn't the long term answer at the back of the BP, not Perez.

Well... hmmm... probably the most work he's ever gotten... what did he throw, 60 innings last year? 23 Saves... and he's on pace for what, about 45 right now...

Not making excuses for him, but, we're gonna need more arms before this is over, these guys are young and most of them are going to go into uncharted waters as far as workload....

Yeah, what I was going to say. Perez has pitched it seems every day for the past week. We need some easy wins so Perez can get a couple days off.

yea... .500 total on this trip is a win, facing 4 quality pitchers and the past struggles on the west coast, coming out even would be excellent

A .500 trip would be bitchin'...the way they are playing at home, I'll take .500 road trips all year.
