Are you sure about that? Would need a link regarding every team making money. But not saying the Indians lost money the past few years. That's why there was a fire sale, to make sure they made money. And if you were going to stink anyway, why would you want to lose money or barely make money and still stink?

But I do know for a fact that the first few years the Dolans owned the team they were losing $15-$25 million a year. They put money into the team to try to put them over the top. (Which Jacobs would NEVER do) They just spent that money badly. These past few years probably helped them recoup those early losses.

But you have to realize there is a difference between cheap owners and owners that don't want to lose money.

I just feel bad for the Browns and Cavs because there is only enough good mojo in Cleveland to supply one team at a time and the Indians are draining the tank right now. The Cavs are already bad, but I was hoping for a better year out of the Browns this fall. :p I'm going to a game with the bottom feeding Red Sox in a few weeks and I can't wait. Hopefully our vendors keep giving us good tickets to the games a few times a year.

just a response to the broom. I didnt come in talking shit. Tribe is on fire, ill give respect where respect it due. Was simply implying that Oakland can't get 7k in attendance. Yes you swept the Tiggers. Congrats. No trophies in may. Hot start ride it. I talked shit earlier and owned up to it.

Love this Tomlin kid...it's like he doesn't have great stuff, but you blink and he has 8 outs. Kinda like Maddux in that way...ahead all the time, just kinda gets the ball and throws it, and gets it back again. Lots of grounders, not many Ks. Very, very solid.
