Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

Well, listening to Acta, sounds like they're sticking with Carmona.

Or something along those lines... :drunks:

In what world does 5.0 IP, 8 H 4/4 R/ER equate to a "great start"? Better make sure the bullpen is good and rested. :ohwell:

That was the worst goddamned interview I've ever heard. Acta pussy-bitched his way through being completely noncommittal to the point of being comical, if it weren't so pathetic. At the same time, he said nothing of substance. "Well, he was good 5 days ago, and when he is good in 5 days again I'm not going to say everything is OK..." WTF did any of that even mean? I'm starting to think this is Wedgespeak V2.0

Remember a few years ago Cliff Lee got sent to Buffalo? Best thing that ever happened to him.

Carmona needs some time in Columbus.

Lee had options so they could send him down.

What Carmona needs is 'arm soreness'. Put him on the 15 day DL followed by a 1-2 month stint in the minors for 'rehab' to fix what is wrong with him.

Like tsteele said, already happened once, and he's fallen completely apart again. The guy is a headcase, but for now, it sounds like we're stuck with him. Guess they'll just have to have the BP ready and hope the bats can overcome the mess he leaves.
