I'll take a high school player with big upside over a college player with minimal upside anyday. The Indians are pretty well stocked in the upper minors but not so much in the lower levels so it makes sense to infuse some high end young talent. Of course they now have to get these guys signed which can be pricey as they have more leverage than the college players.
