Back in April Hoynsie said he was expected to be ready to play in Columbus in May.

Travis Hafner (oblique) is scheduled to take dry swings with a bat on Friday afternoon.

It's a small first step, but any sign of progress is good. Hafner is still at least two weeks away from returning to the major leagues. He was placed on the disabled list on May 20 with a right oblique strain.
