This is the point of the game where everyone is going to try to hit home runs every AB and either strike out or softly pop out.

17 innings in a row without a run, pitching doesn't matter if you can't score at all.
Amazing how we can develop pitchers like crazy but our offense can never hack itself out of a wet paper bag.

Yea this series is over. A wild pitch followed by a hung meat ball to make it 3-0 Detroit.

David Fry 0-3 with 2 Ks and has stranded 5 runners, good thing Vogt pulled Manzardo after 1 AB

Vogt got absolutely pantsed managing too.
Got suckered into taking Manzardo out after 1 AB and pulled Brennan before he even took a swing, the guys he replaced them with went 0-7 and stranded 7 runners
Also using 2 pinch hitters in the first 3 innings is exactly how you end up with one of the worst hitters in baseball (Austin Hedges) as your last out. Not that it mattered at that point, but still.
