Magic number to secure the #2 seed and a bye (they aren't getting the #1 at this point) is 2.
They play the other team still in the hunt for it (Houston) in a 3 game series to end the year. Hopefully they can take care of business vs Cincinnati so it doesn't have to come down to that.

Kwan just hit a HR in his first at bat off of the IL hopefully a good sign that he can return and come out of the major slump he was in in the 2nd half before he went on the IL

Not sure who watched the game , but Clase got himself into trouble (a couple of walks ), but got out of it throwing 103mph fastballs to break the save record for the team and not allowing a run. His ERA for the year: 0.61 .
