Please not Harden...we've finally gotten rid of most of the guys who will shoot us out of games. And yes, Harden is (was) a good shooter, but with Mitchell here he would be chucking and ducking every time he gets near the ball because he's used to being the first and second option for offense. We already have that.

Spot on Fungo…I haven’t watched a minute of the Cavs this year, but my friends like to discuss occasionally. Not sure who they played, and this is likely a regular occurrence too, but between the two teams, 84 three point attempts were hoisted during the game. That is not basketball. I fully understand their “logic” or lack thereof, but that’s unwatchable, and the NBA has been unwatchable for years imo. No defense, Iso ball and chucking 3s. It’s the same as having your diarrhea smell so bad you can’t help but barf, but there’s no trash can, so you have to barf into the shit splattered toilet.

Don’t worry he’ll disappear at the end of important games and not even want to touch the ball.

As long as they don’t extend him I guess they save a year on his cap unless he can be convinced to opt out of his contract

Don’t get me wrong. I still hate it and if your trading garland, you can do better than harden

So, is Harden here just to finish out the season? Use his talents before the honeymoon period ends, hope he helps them to a championship, and then hope for some cap relief since Harden's contract is only partially guaranteed next season?

Let's hope Kobi knows what he is doing. And this gif is my fear for Harden.

I don’t love the trade, but I think it helps future flexibility, sheds Garland’s contract, and potentially makes this a better team in postseason….if Harden is willing to play a 6th man type role.

Keep in mind, we were able to keep Strus, which changes this team drastically when he comes back….hopefully healthy.

I believe the Cavs are now committed to Donovan starting at PG, with Harden spelling him. They’ll prob share the court for 5-7 mins a game. I don’t think the intention is for Harden and Mitchell to play heavy minutes with each-other…

No offense to Darius….but he was significantly overpaid. On top of that, he’s been super fragile. I’m stoked they were able to get his contract off the roster.

The rumors of Strus and Mobley heading to the Bucks are making more noise now.

way less flexibility when they extend harden because he waived his trade kicker... if this doesn't happen.. there 0 chance Harden isn't opting in to his $50M for next season... so basically you save 1 season thats it...
