Smith scored 8 points on 3/11 shooting in 34 minutes. Osman couldn't have done that? And without watching Bogdanovic drive by him standing still with two minutes left?
The good news for the Cavs is that I can't see Bogdanovic shooting 78% from 3 and scoring 30 points two games in a row. The defense has actually been decent. It's the offense that can't do anything.
LeBron is going to need to get 35+ for us to win games in this series. Unfortunately, that's another area where Ty Lue is killing us. He played LeBron the entire second half tonight. Maybe if the guy was able to take a two-minute breather he could've driven to the hoop instead of settling for mid-range jumpers.
Oh well. That's all I can really say. Didn't come into this season with championship expectations and so many pieces have shuffled around since June 2016 that, as a fan, it's hard to feel a true connection with this team anyhow.
The Cavs look less like dog shit tonight, but Ty Lue has played LeBron every minute thus far. All but guarantees he'll be exhausted by the time the 4th quarter starts. Better hope the game's over by then.
Small point maybe, but this was the second or third halftime interview with a player in a row that I heard “just keep doin what we’re doin” for the second half. It’s like nobody on this team but LBJ thinks at all about adjusting to anything, and it certainly indicates that coaches aren’t doing anything for adjustments either.
