Cleveland Browns (official thread of Masochism 2015)

Sounds like he's found the work ethic post rehab. I've always questioned his skill, so we'll find out about that within this year.

I dont get people who question his talent, his ball velocity is on par with the other top QBs from the last few drafts, i think it was 55 or 56 mph? guys like Mariota, Winston, Bridgewater, Carr etc were around that level, he's also super accurate in the pocket, i think he was 77% in college or something, now we finally have a few bigger sure handed WRs. its just a mental thing at this point, and if not next years QB class looks like the class to need a QB.

I think Browns are planning short term on their WR or lack of WR draft picks, you have Hartline, Hawkins, Gabriel and Bowe for 2 more years, plus hopefully Josh Gordon, cant carry 50 WRs. on the flipside next year looks like we could have a very offense heavy draft.

His arm didn't appear very strong when he played, of course shitty footwork kills that. Also, the super accurate thing is good for a laugh. Because he wasn't that in the pocket against a quality defenses while at Aggy and we sure as hell know he isn't that for the Browns. I mean, I'm hoping he's coming back a humble, hardworking individual that can overcome the mental roadblocks of the position. That would be just epic.

Super accurate was more of having a beast of wide receiver who would catch everything thrown in his neighborhood.

Everybody should be rooting for the Saints to draft Bryce Petty here.
