The first tick was bouncing off the other foot, but I can't say there wasn't a toe scrape. (Which youd have to say)

Rush for 200+ yards and Mayfield ends up with a 110 passer rating. Funny how that works. It works better against the Bengals rush defense but still.

That group has me worried. Other than Ward our DB's suck and I don't think adding Greedy and getting Harrison up to speed will make much of a difference. Same for the injuries at LB. The DL is supposed to be the strength of the defense and they seemed to have a hard time getting a rush without a blitz. Hopefully Vernon and Clayborn aren't too injured. The offense is going to have to rush for 250 yards a game just to keep the defense off the field, but the last 2 series you could see the Bengals couldn't do anything to stop the running game.

+1 although JB might have trouble baking it through this season in one piece.
The only good thing about Baker if he is around for the long term is they might be able to extend him without breaking the bank like they thought after 2018. Unless he improves greatly I think his ceiling is an above average game manager. He isn't going to be Drew Brees 2.0 like they thought back then.

Drew Brees needs Sean Payton tho... and while they had Rivers (who was very good obviously) you don't let New Orleans Era Brees go.

They need Greedy Williams and Kevin Johnson back... and for that matter if they can squeak out a few wins, maybe see what Safeties are out there for a 4-5 rounder.

The CBS Sports site has a 2021 mock NFL draft. Obviously the draft order will probably change, but they have Cleveland taking Justin Fields with their 12th pick.

2. For the Browns to take another QB with their 1st pick, someone at CBS Sports must think Baker Mayfield is just another QB in the long line of 1st round QB pick busts that the (new) Browns have had a history of making.

I agree with what you say and think all of this is someone pulling shit out of their ass to have a way too early mock draft. That being said if Fields is on the board whenever the Browns draft in the first round I take him.
