The defense has to come together also.......but if he cuts down the turnovers and checks down on throws, they have a realistic chance of winning 9-10 games next year......

A dominate running game along with play action should help Baker be a more accurate QB and protect the defense from playing too many snaps. The offense has the pieces to be great if the staff does their job. I'd still love to see Clowney settle for slightly more than Vernon is making. He isn't going to get the contract he wants so it seems like he would be better off taking a 1 year deal to play opposite of Garrett and put in the effort to have a great year. I would still be terrified to sign the guy to a long term deal due to the lack of every down effort. If you give me the option of a year of Vernon at 15.5 mil or Clowney at 16-18 mil I'll take Clowney.
