Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

QB - agree w @exhawg ; DTR is a keeper; Mond was so so
RB - generally avg altho screens look good; there's speed at RB; worried about size and ability to block the blitz; gonna miss Hunt
WR - Watkins looked good; most were avg; Swartz - disappointing waste of elite speed, not sure he makes it unless practice squad this yr
OL - agree w @brodybuck21 ; left side was underwhelming
DL - unimpressed; only 1 sack?? and not many pressures; good vs the run tho
LBs - were OK, some flashes but horrible pass defense; our Achilles heal last yr and could be again this yr
DBs - generally unimpressive; McAllister had a couple opportunities to stand out and did - negatively

I get it most of these fellas don't make the cut but I was hoping more than a few stood out...
cuz come Dec & hopefully Jan a couple of these fellas will be important fill ins for injured

Happy they've stopped pissing around with OT in preseason. I don't think it's even necessary in the regular season, same goes for hockey.

They can’t possibly go into the season with York kicking…right?
To Jake's point, if you keep rotating mediocre kickers, you only ever have mediocre kickers. I would be with you until we had cody parkey twice and saw greg Joseph turn into a decent kicker.

Also randomly, Lou Grozas career fg made % is.... About 55% what?

He's 3/4 tonight and made his XP. There's only one Justin Tucker. The rest of them do miss some.

It took Dawson a few years to become the Phil Dawson we remember. York has the leg to be a great one if he can just get his aim down. He's either going to do it in Cleveland if we are patient or he's going to do it someplace else. He was 3-3 when I went to bed so I just watched the last kicks. Most of the time his issue has been with his fade and that bit him again on the first try. On the second try he to tried to aim for the fade and it stayed left. I was impressed on some of the earlier kicks how he was on the right hash and kicked it dead straight through the upright. The Browns will never get anywhere if they keep drafting kickers and cutting them before they make it 2 seasons.

Pretty content with some of the little improvements Togiai has seemingly made. He's understood that he isn't tall with an NFL wingspan. Really looks to have worked on his first step twitch and hand usage in the off-season, because he has picked up a few nice QB pressures as a 3 tech over the course of these few games.

I firmly believe Jordan Elliot is the odd man out. Also means Mo Hurst makes the cut.
