Mecole Hardman is about as good as an example as I can give. He might not get that tap pass from the jet, but that threat he creates catches eyes and freezes feet. Same same for Tyreek Hill obviously.

There is a reason we saw a large dose of undersized speed receivers yesterday. Everyone is attempting to borrow from some of that KC playbook.

I mean, I get it, I just don't see a huge amount of value there from a draft strategy perspective. I also get that Auburn hasn't been its most consistent self offensively the last few years... it doesn't seem like he returns kicks, etc. I guess I see a little too much track guy and not enough football player. Again, I hope he does well AND I realize the Browns need to constantly evolve what they're doing and not having Natson for most of the year limited those things they wanted to do with him. (And Odell too as I said before) If he is going to help on special teams as well, maybe I feel better about it.

Absolutely Schwartz will be on special teams. Forget kick return, the Browns net punt return average was trash. And, IMHO, punt return yardage > kick return in today's NFL. At least in consistently adding expected point average.
This is where he'll come into play early.

At least we can sit here for the first time in seemingly a lifetime and go "I get the 'why'" as to the picks along with not getting stupid on perceived talent to draft value. Hell, wasn't but 5 years ago the previous front office sunk a 1st round pick into a track star with Corey Coleman.

Never heard anything about a unknown medical issue

The Notre Dame product was slipping down boards due to role concerns and an unknown medical issue, but he was our 19th-ranked player in the class and well-deserving of a first-round selection. Yet, Cleveland got him at the end of Round 2. Owusu-Koramoah essentially manned the slot for the Fighting Irish and was damn good at it. He ranked second among all players in college football last season in slot coverage grade.

I thought he would make one of the Browns picks. I know that his ambulation is not very good but I do not know or have heard anything about his health.
