Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

They have alot of pieces. It’s time to sell out for a ring. They are close but need an upgrade at QB and perhaps one more piece to make the defense from really good to dominant.

Give me another S - I need a middle fielder. I can let Harrison and Joseph fight over the 2 and 3 spot. Then get me an actual nickel, not TJ Stewart and not Kevin Johnson. Also, don't hesitate to give Mitchell a 2 year deal. I'd like to keep some continuity in the secondary.

Goodson, Philips and Taki can stay. Mack is gone, Malcolm is a cost casualty. Beyond that? Depth and sub-package pass rushers on the edge. Steelers picked up my pick (Highsmith) in the 4th, so It can be done middle rounds.

Andy Reid seems like a solid guy, he was very complimentary of the Browns and the coaches. But we'll be seeing you next year, KC. Hopefully the offense doesn't leave 7-16 points on the field again.

Points make sense. Candidly haven’t watched Browns very closely this year.

It does feel like the beginning of a Browns “window” of opportunity. Steelers are declining, Ravens seem erratic. If the Browns make some key moves they’ll have a shot each year.

It’s also an off-season where Watson is available and a QB upgrade would go a long way

Watson is "available" if you give Houston the city of Cleveland.... literally. Actually, all of NE Ohio. So honestly, might as well just cut the QB part out of your wish-list.

I was on Baker at the start of the season and with damn good reason. He played outstanding ball the 2nd half of 2020 and has earn a full season under Stef's offense to show just what his ceiling is.

Yeah, over the past two months, I think Baker has shown that he could be "the guy." He played terrific ball. Will be interesting to see what he can do in Stefanski's offense in year two with a full off-season.

fair. one more year on Baker’s rookie deal. will be huge to see what the value will look like in an extension

I will say this...this franchise is FINALLY in a spot where the fans should feel.good about their team and be optimistic going forward. Some don't like Mayfield, but I saw enough over the last two months of the season to believe he could be the guy to lead them. They're stacked at RB. They have an outstanding OL. WR is really interesting because the team seemed to play better after OBJ went down. Now, if he can stay healthy, he adds another interesting dynamic in the passing game. Or they could try to deal him to add assets. I think Higgins and even DPJ are intriguing young guys. Good TEs, too.

On defense, the DL is strong, but every effort must be put into improving the back seven. Frankly, Ward and Harrison are the only guys I'd want to remain on the field. Maybe Delpit helps.

Stefanski is a helluva coach. Yeah, like every coach he has "wtf, man?" moments/games, but he changed the culture, has them playing hard and believing.

I'm not gonna claim to be some hardcore, long suffering fan. Many here know I bailed on this franchise around the time they drafted Brandon fucking Weeden and went back to my childhood favorite. I'm a Niners fan first, but now that they're WORTH paying attention to, I hope the Clowns Browns do well and will root for them.

For the first time since I've been a Browns fan they seem like they are one good draft away from being really good. I think Baker can be the guy, but I really hope he is willing to work out an extension for less that Mahomes money. I would have no problem moving on from OBJ if they can get a decent return. I think he can have a place on the team as long as he fits in and doesn't throw a fit when he only gets 5 targets a game. On the other hand it's a lot of money to pay a guy for that kind of usage. Lets just hope for an uneventful offseason and the world getting back to normal by the time the season starts.
