Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

would you bite on either one of these trades
1)second-round pick for Williams
2)second-round pick and David Njoku for guard Joe Thuney
3)If the Browns can acquire Williams without surrendering their No. 10 overall pick and Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons is off the board, as was the case in a recent cleveland.com mock draft, that opportunity is a logical one.

I would do either #1 or #2 with my preference on #2 but I definitely would not trade down

I get the fascination with him but this dude has in my unscientific opinion he is going to be one of the bigger bust in this draft.

1 - Nope

2 - Very on the fence about that one. Leaning towards a nope. Especially given the depth of IOL in this draft.

3 - I like that you called Simmons a linebacker. I'm also glad more people are warming up to that label. Too many said he was going to be a full time safety at first.

If Andrew Thomas is gone, I'm going to have to see the trade down first. But if that trade down involves us targeting a will backer, then I'd prefer it to be Kenneth Murray over Simmons at the moment.

Jadeveon Clowney Rumors: Browns 'Have Shown Interest' in Star Pass-Rusher

With the market for defensive end Jadeveon Clowney remaining relatively cold, a new team has stepped up to gauge the pass-rusher's interest.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Cleveland Browns have been in talks with Clowney's camp. While no deal is imminent, the news signals the Seattle Seahawks may not be the front-runner to re-sign the former No. 1 overall pick.

Clowney had seemingly been reluctant to budge from a demand of $20 million per season, but ESPN Seattle's John Clayton reported Thursday that he'd accept a deal closer to $17 million per year.

Clayton also reported the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans have expressed an interest in signing Clowney.

The Browns have not been afraid to spend money this offseason. Cleveland has already agreed to deals with Andrew Billings, Adrian Clayborn, Jack Conklin, B.J. Goodson and Austin Hooper worth an estimated total of more than $93.5 million.

I don't see how a 30-something LT that is demanding a huge contract is a good move when there are 3-4 good LT's in the draft this year. One of those guys will be available at 10, so take the best one available and be set for the next 8-10 years. I wouldn't sign Williams for what he's asking and I sure as hell wouldn't give up a pick in the first 3 rounds just to have the right to pay him a ton of money. I get putting feelers out for Clowney. They have 15.5 mil going to Vernon this year so if Clowney is willing to take a one or two year deal for something a little more than that I think you go for it and cut Vernon. If Clowney is looking for a 4-5 year deal with 40+ mil guaranteed he can pound salt. I wouldn't be surprised to see them draft LT at 10 then fill in the rest of the draft with LB's, DB's, and maybe a WR or TE.

I am hopeful they draft a tackle..........

So you're telling me the 400 LB giant has slow feet or poor form. After he blew up the combine I saw him still being listed as a project. I'm guessing he's more of a mauler that would be better off blocking on the QB's front side. If I'm looking for the guy to stabilize my OL and protect Bakers blind side I go with one of the top 3. I'm guessing analytics won't be friendly to Becton, but i would be awesome of someone before the Browns falls in love with his combine and "football guy-ness" and drafts him to leave the other good options to the Browns.
