Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

What would be different? It isn't the defense that was the problem last year, and it's certainly not the problem this year.
It wouldn't be any different with Garrett still on the roster. The biggest flaws of this team right now are QB and OL play are mediocre - get some upgrades in those areas & then the Browns can compete with the upper tier teams in the NFL.

The Cardiac Massage Kids do it again. It’s not sustainable…but then again they play a lot of bad teams so maybe it is.
Well... yeah. Then you get a bog bpy schedule next year. This is at least a marginally competent team now. They are not "good"

Whatever lets go piss in the Ravens and steelers cheerios.

Yeah, this team isn’t very good, but I’m enjoying these flukey wins.

I will say, I always thought Myles Garrett was a bit overrated and a stat chaser. I think the defense has been pretty solid for most part,,…we’ve definitely been better at stopping the run, and I think that is directly correlated to Garrett not being on defensive line.

I doubt the defense is better with Verse than it would be with Garrett, but I don't think too many people are losing sleep over the trade anymore. It was probably a win for the Browns. We'll see if Myles ends up doing anything for the Rams or if he's washed. If he never returns to form, it was a great trade for the Browns. I still think he was never 100% after his car accident.

Just sayin': The Browns (5-2) are in a situation like the NFC East leading Giants (4-2-1); however, they both have the advantage of

1. A very weak schedule based on not being very good last season.
2. Just winning some close games that could have easily went either way.
3. The other 3 teams in their division aren't very good either.

Yeah, so just enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm not going to fact-check anything you said except to say that the NY Giants are in the NFC East.

Oh - I will comment on this:
1. A very weak schedule based on not being very good last season.
The schedule is made up of 6 games against your division, plus your whole division playing another in-conference division, plus your whole division playing another out-of-conference division. That's 14 games. 3 games are based on where your team finished last year.
It appears the AFC North plays the AFC South (Jacksonville, Tennessee, Houston, and Indianapolis) and the NFC South (Tampa Bay, Carolina, New Orleans, and Atlanta).
The only games affected by last year's record are the Jets (L), Raiders, and Giants.
I don't think you can say that their wins this year, to date, are affected by their weak schedule based on not being good last season.

3. The other 3 teams in their division aren't very good either.
They've only played 2 of them. But I wouldn't apologize - the other three teams have been feasting on 2 easy wins every season for a long time.

I'm going to go all-in on agreeing with #2:
2. Just winning some close games that could have easily went either way.
Other than Week 1, all 6 games have been 1-score games. I don't recall the loss to the Jets, but the 5 wins all could have gone either way, usually in what I would call "classic Browns style".
