Imagine the money any of us could have won before the opening kick of the NFL season if we had somehow parlayed: Browns 4-2 Rams 2-4 Cowboys 2-4What's interesting is the Browns are 4-2 and the offense hasn't even played well. Deshaun Watson has at most one half per game where he plays semi-competent, and still they've manage to score enough points to win 2/3 of their games.
Note: Sanders represented himself before hiring von Gontard, who works with Young Money APAA Sports. The timing has invited questions because an agent can communicate with other teams about a potential move.
From: Cleveland.com.....Shedeur Sanders made waves this week when he hired his first NFL agent, with many outlets speculating that he did so to facilitate a trade from the Browns, the same way receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. did a week ago when he was dealt from the Cardinals to the Texans.
Sanders hired Adie von Gontard, CEO of Young Money APAA Sport to represent him, the same agent who represents Sanders’ former Colorado teammate Travis Hunter, the receiver/cornerback for the Jaguars.
The move raised some eyebrows, because it came on the heels of Harrison hiring his first agents, Todd France and Tory Dandy of Athletes First, and then maneuvering his way out of Arizona two weeks later. The NFL trade deadline is Nov. 10 at 4 p.m., and Sanders is the Browns’ No. 2 quarterback behind Deshaun Watson, who’s 3-2 heading into Sunday’s battle for first place with the Ravens.
Also from Cleveland.com.....
The Browns have no plans to trade Shedeur Sanders or Dillon Gabriel even though a number of NFL quarterbacks have already suffered significant injuries this season, including the Giants’ Jaxson Dart, the Commanders’ Jayden Daniels and the Bears’ Caleb Williams. Nevertheless, the Browns have no plans to trade away their No. 2 and No. 3 quarterbacks now or before the trade deadline Nov. 10.
"Still, even with that context, after talking to multiple league and team sources, I’d be more surprised if he dealt quarterback Shedeur Sanders before this year’s trade deadline. Berry is said to have a great affection for Sanders, whom he took a chance on 18 months ago while the rest of the NFL passed over him several times. Blanket caveat that anything can happen over the next few weeks, but the Browns dealing Sanders by the deadline would be a stunner."
Just sayin': The Browns now have 4 healthy QBs, anybody think they will trade 1 before the deadline?
What would be different? It isn't the defense that was the problem last year, and it's certainly not the problem this year.Imagine if they were able to keep Garrett. Would have a chance to keep winning imo. Not sure how sustainable this is right now.
