Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

Yep, and as soon as they address the offense, the defense will then suck. Bengals always have the same issue. It amazes me how some teams have a small window to be successful before returning to obscurity. Yet, teams like the Steelers, Ravens, Patriots, Packers, can suck a couple years and then find themselves either in the conference championship game or Super Bowl by year 3. Teams like the Browns, Bengals, Lions, and Saints get 2-3 years of success and that’s it. I haven’t watched much Pro sports this year and haven’t really missed it much

Probably can remove the Lions from that and the Patriots haven’t done much for awhile. Maybe Vrabel changes that.

I agree with your premise though and there’s a lot of mediocrity in the NFL.

This was always going to be the case once they committed so much guaranteed money to Deshaun Watson. He's a sunk cost that will damage this roster for (2) more years. It's why I was so excited when Myles Garrett demanded a trade. As good as he is, it makes no difference on really one of the worst collective rosters in the NFL. Getting a Micah Parsons type package (probably could've been even better than the Parsons haul) would've set this team up so much better for the future once they can shed the Watson contract.

I just don't see the point of a long-term deal with Garrett who will be exiting his prime years when we finally have cap space to re-tool the roster.

Browns management is just consistently terrible.

I think Stefanski is really good….letting him go would be disappointing for me.

If Stefanski had a good GM I think he’d be incredible. His roster is terrible…..like unbelievably bad…..

I don't know what changed this year, but they seemed to nail the draft for the first time in the AB era. They wouldn't suck if he drafted this well every year.
