Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

Anyone can have whatever opinion they want on Shedeur….the one thing he “should” get credit for is how he stands in the pocket and is willing to take shots.

At Colorado his O-line sucked….he took a lot of sacks and turned it over a bit too much…..but, he also made tons of throws from uncomfortable pockets and moved the pocket in ways to make positive plays.

I think he can be a good NFL QB….not elite, but solid.

Outside of the speeding thing, he's seemed to be pretty low-key since they drafted him. He seems like just another rookie mid-round QB fighting for a spot. Not at all what I expected. I think most people were expecting a total circus act, and I was definitely one of them. Maybe sliding so far in the draft actually humbled him and to his credit, he seems to be putting in the work. The litmus test will be if he ever tastes success; does he stay humble or does that bring out the old, cocky Shadeur.

This comes three years after Garrett was issued a citation for "failure to control his motor vehicle" in the aftermath of a single-car crash that left him with a left shoulder sprain and right biceps strain after his vehicle went off the side of the road and flipped over. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Garrett was traveling at an "unsafe speed for the type of roadway" he was on, which contributed to the accident. Garrett was driving 65 mph on a road with a 45 mph speed limit, according to the crash report obtained by ESPN.

In 2022, WKYC reported at least seven instances of Garrett speeding in Northeast Ohio.

It's likely because 71 opens up in Strongsville and the cops can sit in the middle. North of that there's a wall down the middle of 71 most of the way to downtown. The Browns either should have put a clause in his contract that voids money for every ticket or provided him a driver. I'm not sure how the law works since he has a Texas license, it seems like he would have had his license suspended by now with all the tickets.
