Has Allar shown ANYONE ANYTHING that says he's a first-round quarterback?
I mean, don't underestimate the Browns - the only surprise is if they don't do something surprising. But am I missing something, or has Allar been very mediocre in his time at Penn State? Maybe this year will be different...
No he has not. Wildly mediocre with some glimpses of good play is all I have seen. He is vastly overrated and if it wasn't for Warren, Singleton and Allen saving his ass at times, his stats would look even worse.
2. Cleveland Browns: Drew Allar, QB, Penn State
Allar is an unrefined product, but he has a lot of the traits that will appeal to NFL teams. The Ohio native grew up wanting to play for Cleveland. The Browns are clearly stockpiling picks to either take their quarterback of choice or move around to get that player. The third-round selection of Dillon Gabriel and fifth-round selection of Shedeur Sanders is not going to change that fact.
So all the media people who make mock drafts are outraged because Shedeur fell to the fifth.
Also, all the media people who make mock drafts are mocking the Browns to take another QB next year.
