And I have to think they're hoping he plays so badly in weeks 1 and 2 that they can pull him and start Shedoobie in week 3 in the home opener. Otherwise...this could get real ugly real fast (even for the Browns).

I was still in a “it’s complicated” relationship with the Browns the previous 4-5 years but fully divorced them last year. Don’t think I saw a quarter of football from them, maybe not even 10 plays (I remember a blocked kick game after the local CBS flipped to the Browns).

Call it fairweather but I cannot bring myself to invest time, money or even an ounce of brain power caring about this franchise. They’ve given me almost nothing back and almost spit in the face of fans with roster moves and other decisions. Every current move just affirms my decision.

I’ve found so much peace on my Sundays (and really dropping interest in a lot of NFL overall). I’ll be back when they’re serious, likely never.

You could just edit the proper nouns and apply this to any professional sports franchise in Ohio.

Especially one in the southwest corner of the state that rhymes with useless ass fucking Reds.

The product on the field may once again be garbage, but at least a good chunk of their new stadium will be paid for via our tax dollars!!!
