I'm pretty sure all the Geno smoke was to make people say "At least it wasn't a QB" when they picked Mingo. Not really sure why they picked a player at a position where they already have 2 starters, but I'd look for them to move Sheard sometime in the next year. I can see a pass rush defense this year with Kruger, Sheard, and Mingo all on the field, but you have too many bodies for 2 positions.

The rest of the draft they need 2 DB's, a TE, a OG, and Boren. Throw in the QB from hot chick Fredo to see if he can be the QB of the future.

You have to admit, "Draft Expert" is basically a gambling tout. No one ever holds you accountable. Just like no one ever holds "Recruiting Experts" accountable.

I kind of wish networks would fire their "Draft Experts" if they get 10-to-11 (of 32 picks) wrong. You can't get a "D" grade (if on a grading scale)?

I'll say it, find one person who would allow Todd McShay or Mel Kiper to control one cent of their money (draft picks). They'll never do it because you're actually held accountable (in the NFL).

Well, at least the Browns have graduated to reach (Mingo) from reach-around (Geno Smith)...apparently someone put LOLbardi in a round room and told him to go take a piss in the corner for a few hours, because taking a QB at #6 that no one else had any interest in would have been right in his wheelhouse. As it is, we got a pass rusher that at least some other teams were interested in. I agree it is a strange move, unless they plan on keeping Sheard at DE or moving him...don't really need 3 outside rushers as much as you need DL in a rotation.

Eh, Jones has issues too. Of course he will become a 14x All Pro with the Steelers, that's the way the Browns work. But in any event this was a ridiculously weak draft, and they didn't go full retard and take a QB that Syracuse made look stupid 3 times in a row...not much else you can expect, really. At least they got a guy that might...might...pan out into someone that can play at least a little bit.
