For what? Cutting 2 guys that shouldn't see the field? There is still money to spend this year on the right players. I wouldn't get too upset until we see what they do in the draft. One CB from Alabama could cure all of the ills at DB.

It's not so much about getting rid of deadweight as it is spending some money on FA's. Milliner might not be available so.....

Milliner's availability means little. These guys were (soon to be) fodder and some late round picks can easily take their places.

No idea if he would want to come home or we have enough money available for him, though from reading the past few pages here it seems we would.

If we don't want to spend it all this year and save half of our cap space for next year, maybe he would take a one year deal with a team option for year two?

At least try and get him in and talk to him.

I'm wondering if some of these guys are waiting until after the draft to sign. Might be some bigger contracts once teams know what they really need.

If the Browns don't end up with Milliner I would have to think they would be interested in a one year deal with a guy like Winfield.
