What a clown show. I don't know how you guys still give a [Mark May] about this outfit :slappy:

I'm not sure I ever really gave a shit, the franchise was gone when I was at the age to start identifying with teams and they have never done anything to actually give me an emotional attachment to the team....rooted for them as a function of rooting for the Indians and Cavs. At this point I'm just tired of not being able to enjoy the NFL..done with this nonsense.

Who the hell would they hire? More importantly, who would be dumb enough to take the position?

Why Nick Saban or Jim Harbaugh of course. Cleveland is a once-in-a-lifetime destination... Saban would come just for the challenge and adulation to rebuild this great franchise. And Jim wouldn't pass up such a grand opportunity to have a storied rivalry with his older brother. We just have to offer them $10mil and they'll be putty in our hands.

If Chud is gone after 1 year what other coach is going to take the job? You aren't convincing a big name coach to come to Cleveland if the last guy only had 1 season. I don't think he did a bad job. The failures this year were mainly due to the previous regime botching the first round of the 2012 draft and Chud being stuck with the aftermath. If anything Turner isn't the OC that he used to be and you look to bring in someone else to run the offense with Hoyer or the QB that they draft.

Any goodwill that the Browns built this year will be completely gone if these rumors go on too much longer or even worse aren't rumors.

I laugh as much as anyone else at the Coaching merry-go-round and Front Office buffoonery, but who are we building 'goodwill' with ?
If Chud is an interim coach, then he's an interim coach. It wasn't a problem to replace Fickell after 1 year. If somebody in the Browns organization wants to grow a spine and start making executive decisions, and they've got a guy in mind... and can bring him in... then bully. Pull the trigger and do it.
If they're just floating rumors and can't execute, then they should stfu and stop shooting themselves in the foot with petty internal politics and ass hattery.

The issue is that they've made half-assed decisions at every turn. A lot of that I blame on Lerner not giving a crap and spending all his money on some middling EPL club that was never going to compete for anything more than some third-rate cup trophy. I'm not sure the current management is any better, but I sure hope somebody somewhere decides they want to start winning in the future. Until then it's all a joke.

Lol, my point was the same both times, try as you might to defend yet another Cleveland GMing decision, Kruger was an overpaid and overrated signing based on inflated sack-stats - and so nobody should be surprised by Cleveland being Cleveland again.

No. The point you tried to make was that Kruger rolled up his stats riding suggs coattails. I showed you that was clearly false. I never spoke to Kruger being good, only that they could get out from his deal fairly easy in the future. Please read more carefully.

:slappy: I love this team... It is just a train wreck of comedy at this point. .its funny the "fire Chud" talk started up after Balls O'Blarny was linked to the Tejanians job.. .I'm sensing a strong amount of butt hurt from the FO over Bill O'buttchin interviewing

The shield (aka Goodell) is really shitting the bed on the "best interest of the game" clause. .. I dont think anything will change until people stop showing up but that's what Haslam & the FO want... This is straight out of "Major league" .. theyare dying to move the team
