I will say, they're not that far off at this point...Hoyer showed, if nothing else, what this team can do with even mostly competent QB play. You'd think they would eventually luck their way into competence....it's unreal that this franchise can never get on track....

I'd trade him for Juliette Lewis at this point.

They just had Chud's presser...every time someone tried to ask him about how much Weeden sucked this game, he kept trying to go back to last week and say he played better in the Buffalo game. He also said he will not change QBs, and that there was no discussion of even doing so. Mary Kay kept trying to bring up the QB...at least she didn't start quoting Blackmon's stats this week though
Someone actually did ask (and I thought they did a good job in doing so) whether Chud thought Weeden had lost the confidence of the guys in the locker room with his braindead mistakes. He said no, but it wasn't as convincing as it would be if one were talking about a game after Drew Brees threw 5 picks or something. He must think Weeden still gives them the best chance to win. Somebody also asked directly about Campbell (like WTF are you not trying him out for) and he just said he likes him, blah blah blah. Either Campbell must be completely out of gas, or he's been told that Weeden is his guy for the year no matter what so dropping him next year will be easy...or something.I just don't know what you're gonna find out about Weeden that you don't already know... he's not getting any better... and we know that this offense can do some things well. So, if you're not gonna play Campbell, fine... why is he here? Sign Matt Flynn... hell... sign David Carr if you want to make sure there's no controversy going forward. At some point you have to actually decide that you're gonna do what you need to do to win and have that be your culture. There's no upside to struggling through this with Weeden... Alright, I don't really mean sign David Carr, but, whatever... if he doesn't throw across the field underhanded... you know... that's probably a win.

Well that's the thing, apparently there wasn't even a discussion about a change at all after that...which I find hard to believe, but then again I don't (if that makes sense).I'd say in light of the "worst pass ever thrown in the history of organized football" they ought to revisit that discussion.
