That's the thing. We don't need 2 high guard picks. Just a capable rookie and Pinkston or Lavaou to get healthy. Then we wouldn't be a giant pile of suck, at least.

Gipson and Ward are fine, so long as we can maintain this pass rush.

A #2CB is a desparate need. A fullback won't mean shit until we get the line in form.

The Mingo pick is looking less intelligent by the day since Sheard has been playing so well. Who knew? Hindsight is 20/20. I'd love Warmack but hey - at least we didn't take Geno.

That said, if this front office does some stupid shit, like draft Manziel - that would be the final straw to just say 'fuck it'... Pack up and move.

Sheard was partially responsible on 2 3rd down pickups where he dropped into coverage and was out of position and didn't recover quick enough to get into the passing lane. but really, that is sort of picking nits as he shouldn't be asked to do that very often. but when your #2 cb is getting toasted and you have to go to zone to cover for him, those things happen.

Well they're not going to be able to undouche this team in one year...the question is what are the priorities going to be. If they go QB, they will possibly have to go full retard (of course, they could still get the second pick behind Jacksonville, who will also be going QB soon), or they could try and fully shore up the CB by drafting a CB2 and then address the OL positions. They have a lot of midround picks next year, so it will be interesting to see if they are stockpiling players or picks to move up.

Great news! They have full confidence in Cousins against Baltimore and are not making any changes! Woot!
Well, he couldn't be worse than he was this week, but the situation that put him there could be. He'll either bust his ass to learn his new position, and learn from his mistakes. Or he'll let one terrible week get in his head, and he'll get pulled for the guy that couldn't beat him out in the first place.

He's been an NFL offensive lineman for 6 years. There isn't learning his new position at this point. They must not think Gilkey is anywhere near ready if they are sticking with Cousins. The only thing Cousins has going for him is the Ravens run a 3-4 so he won't have someone lined up over him so his base protection will be to help Mack or Schwartz and watch for a LB blitz.

After watching last weeks game film - I doubt the Ravens Coordinators mindset will be so set in stone that they'll exclusively play a 0-tech and heads up on the tackles. Cousins will be tested early and often.
