Well at least we didn't take Everette Brown at #5 like some were predicting at one point. Hes still on the board.

Maybe I'm alone, but I liked Alex Mack more than any other pick. I love Beanie, but I don't want him on the Browns. I just don't think that would work.
Mack isn't a reach and at the very least should be a long term starter for us.
Picking a RB in the first round, unless it's a homerun, guaranteed HOF back is just dumb in the modern NFL.

Jeff Faine turned out to be decent. If he turns out like Faine the Browns will be fine. Hopefully he doesn't take as long to come around as Faine did though.

Robo is only the third Buckeye I can recall the Browns picking since I've followed them. The got Darnell Sanders a few years back, and took Craig Powell way back when.

I know he's a buckeye but him or Massaquoi could have been had probably with one of the Browns other 2nd rounders. Malaluga is too good of a value to pass up at that point and even Everette Brown at this pick if they need a pass rusher.
