Clemson Tigers (official thread)

Pitt will play Clemson in the ACCCG.

UCF beat Pitt, 45-14.

That conference is garbage. More so than the B1G, even.

Probably worse than the Pac 12

You could be referring to AAC or the ACC. Both, really. It's no coincidence UCF, Clemson, and pseudo ACC member Notre Dame are all unbeaten.

Another fun fact: North Carolina has one conference victory this season. They beat Pitt.

They tested positive for ostarine, which is illegal in the United States. Probably not a case of buying a sketchy pre-workout from GNC.
Ok so if it was one random player then maybe a fluke. But when 3 kids test positive, there is definitely smoke, if not fire. This is not something that is legal in any way in the US... The old "someone spiked my drink" excuse that got Arizona basketball star Allonzo Trier off the hook doesn't appear to be feasible.

Tell that to Dabo.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said he is still hoping that Lawrence will be allowed to play in Clemson’s College Football Playoff game against Notre Dame on Saturday.

“We’re just kind of at the mercy of the process,” Swinney said. “And then there’s an appeal after that, but that doesn’t really help with this game. . . . And so we’ll deal with it accordingly, hope for the best, hope that the B-sample will come back and they’ll be cleared to play. But, if not, we treat it as an injury. We’ve got to get ready to move forward. And our goal has not changed, just to play the best four quarters of the season.”

Swinney suggested that none of the three players ingested ostarine intentionally.

“This particular substance can come from anything,” Swinney said. “And these three players have no clue — in fact, they thought it was a joke when I called them. They have no clue how this has gotten in their system. It could come from hair products. It could come from a cream. It could come from protein. It could come from a product that you order or buy online that you think there’s nothing wrong with it. It could be anything. Literally, it could be a drink — something in a drink. . . . We’re going to do everything we can to figure out if it is in the system. Heck, I don’t know. I mean, who’s to say that it is there? I mean, that’s what we’re being told, but there’s — they all will have legal representation, and there will be a process to go through to find out.”

Players testing for SARM's and then Dabo has the fucking nerve to say "it could have been in their protein"... :slappy::slappy:

Ok, bruh. Plant your two feet, look into the camera's like a man and say "I think my players screwed up". But it's all good, It'll be like Cushing when that jackass left USC. Test positive, then promptly suspended. Then goes on to tear an ACL, MCL, a few broken bones (pretty bad) etc etc. Which is a solid red flag after guys give up the juice.

edit: Unless somebody in that locker room has the hookup, then somebody on staff has a guy that slipped these kids their stuff. We'll see how tightly they circle the wagons and how cult it becomes down there now that Clemson has tasted sustained success.

Link to USDA site for ostarine

Dabo might not want to read this part:
Do everyday products contain ostarine?
There are in fact products that contain ostarine, but only illegal ones. Given that ostarine is not approved for human use or consumption in the U.S., or in any other country, there are no legal medications that contain ostarine.

It’s also important to note that ostarine is not a permitted ingredient in dietary supplements. However, you should be aware that some dietary supplement manufacturers illegally put SARMs like ostarine in their products and sell them as “legal steroids” or “research only” chemicals. Moreover, they may omit ostarine from the label entirely, or use misleading names to confuse consumers. For example, ostarine may also be called enobosarm, MK-2866, or GTx-024. Some examples of supplements that contain ostarine can be found on the USADA High Risk List. Click here for an advisory on ostarine in supplements.

Holy shit. Am I hearing this report correctly? Are they claiming that bc it's 3 players from 3 different classes and from 3 different position groups that they don't feel it's a team issue? An investigation to be done to see how the substance actually got into their systems? Come on man. How do you think it got there?
