They have an elite offense which is good enough for 10 wins.

Auburn in 2010 was awful defensively but their offense carried that team to a NC.

We'll see, they're gonna have to buckle up for this 4th down to finish off the job.

So? You're not going to win shootouts every game, otherwise Texas Tech would have run off 7 straight MNCs.

54th in scoring defense is hardly awful.

We'll see, they're gonna have to buckle up for this 4th down to finish off the job.

I meant 4th quarter. But what? You really think 54th scoring defense isnt awful? Whatever man

Texas Tech is obviously a differnce in overall talent.

They were in the upper half of all D-1A schools. That isn't awful by any count but yours apparently.

So wait - Clemson has a "elite" offense but doesn't play any defense and that makes them different from Texas Tech how, exactly?

Clemson has much better players thats how in terms of talent. Nobody on those TTech teams can compare to Sammy Watkins, Ellington, or Hopkins. Um yeah 54 is pretty bad, otherwise OSU's defense this year isnt that bad either.

I dont know why we're arguing over this, just enjoy some football.

54th won them a national title.

I kinda doubt Ohio State's defense is ranked as high at 54th right now.

Texas Tech, at their peak, had a much more coherent and efficient offense than Clemson is showing right now.

I dont know why we're arguing over this, just enjoy some football.

No one is beating Bama for the NC. Chalk up a 7th NC for the SEC.
