Well, you get some flips (like Miyan Williams and Grant Toutant, etc.) and lose some flips, that's how recruiting works. It's all part of the recruiting game.....
However, the greatest flip in recent years has to be Justin Fields flipping from Penn State to Georgia. That really worked out great for us. In case you don't remember that one....

Ohio State and Utah could’ve settled it in the field in the CFP but one of the two choked on the doorstep against a WAC12 team.

While I agree with you, he didn’t set up that official visit in a couple of hours. Right after Hafley was announced as head coach, the report of his OV to Utah was announced.
Hafley leaving was a convenient excuse, but he was probably gone anyway. And that’s okay.
