So, some of you know that yesterday was not good. The hearing resulted in a flat declination, and the day ended with me feeling pretty sullied and abused.

This morning I spoke to the judge on the phone for a little over half an hour, and he reversed his decision during that call. I'll have insurance and medical options before the end of the year.

So good news in the end. Bit of a roller coaster the last 24 hours.

This is me celebrating the fact that I'll soon be able to go get a spinal tap, colonoscopy, and another root canal -- amongst other generally abhorrent carnal fare. Sort of funny, but it is a genuinely good thing.

DAMN! Wooooo Hooooooo!

I have to say I'm flooded with all kinds of emotion right now. I was sooo pissed yesterday when I checked the thread (with my admin powers) that you had deleted. I didn't respond since the anger and bile wasn't something you needed to hear. Now I'm thrilled that someone has seen the light and done what was "right" as opposed to what might have been viewed as technically "correct".
Shit, I'm so freaking happy for you and Jo. More later.

That's excellent news. It's nice to see a judge make a sensible ruling.

Make sure you post extremely detailed accounts of the anal probes you receive. 3yards loves to read all about those things. :biggrin:

It's about F'ing time. Great job on whatever you did to convince the
judge that his decision was incorrect.

Best of luck from here on out, especially with getting all your
medical issues resolved.
