Clarett spilling the beans

What is the motivation for ESPN continue to try to make tOSU look bad? Are the ESPN Board of Directors Pac 10 or Oklahoma fans who are trying to scrow tOSU over. With the negative comments from their analysts on ESPN, you have to come to the conclusion they want to see tOSU take a fall. They have an underlying motive somewhere to be so obsessed with the Buckeyes.

ESPN is pissed that all of their woman's-panty-wearing analyists looked like morons for continually predicting we'd get beat by 100 every game in 2002...right up until we ended the season undefeated. If you don't pile 75 points a game up, they don't want to see you, because it's bad for their ratings, and the more we won, the stupider they looked, and the more venom they spewed.

FWIW - Tom Friend - the author of the ESPN magazine piece - will be on 1460 Wednesday at 3:20 and 5:20.

I guess that 1460 would have him on and that I would make a post like this is a glimpse into what motivates ESPN to write such an article.

To be honest, I think if any athlete from a Bit Time program was willling to do a tell all that trashed their school ESPN would go after it. It sells.

The best way to respond to their garbage is to come out with class, win the rest of our games playing Tressel-ball, and come back next year to compete for the NC. I have no doubt that we will do this.

JT's the right guy to have running the team, especially with this kind of crap going on. Can you imagine if we had hired Gruden back then? He'd have crapped his pants and had an aneurysm (or vice versa) long ago.

It's all about ratings. They do things like this, Buckeye fans talk about them and tune in, and the ratings go up. How many people do you know who tuned in today? BOYCOTT THEM! This nonsense will stop.
