Just uploaded some pics I took of Hayden Falls this past winter.

For anyone with school aged kids, went back to Hayden Falls last summer, and the falls were going full blast. Took my nephews and they fuckin' loved it. There were a shit load of people there, swimming, picnicking, just hangin' out. I'd imagine with the recent rains, the falls would be pretty sweet now. My nephews were...12 and 9, and they were old enough to stand directly under the falls and not be knocked down. I plan on going back this summer sometime.

Are there any other little known places like this in Columbus or the surrounding area?

P.S. I am not a "Hippie".

Indian Run Falls

Tucked away in Dublin, Ohio you?ll find Indian Run Falls. This 3 1/2 acre area was part of the land that was once home to the Native American tribe known as the Wyandots.
The walls are made of limestone and you?ll find native flowers and Blue Ash trees along the path. The falls are approximately 25 feet high and gradually climb down over the limestone rocks rather than a more direct drop off like Hayden Falls.
The City of Dublin has added observation platforms, nature trails and a bridge to make it more accessible, especially in the Indian Run gorge and falls area, as well as two shelter houses.
You?ll find Indian Run Falls at 700 Shawan Falls Drive, Dublin, Ohio.

Thanks, Script!

I remember going to that place with my grandparents when I would visit Ohio as a youngster. Still got some Indian Heads around somewhere. Good memories.

OK, this isn't the Columbus area but if you ever head out to the Sedona, Arizona area I suggest stopping by here for some fun. There's trail in the area to hike too.
