Cincy -2.5 at USF (ov/un 49.5)

USF's quarterback drives me nuts. Sure, he escapes trouble...but then usually overthrows the open receiver after doing so.

As for Pike, I think he has to be a top 3-4 QB prospect in the draft this year. I'd put him up there with Bradford and McCoy. He reminds me of Rothlisberger in some ways.

Daniels is an exciting athlete, but USF misses the 13th year senior Grothe's experience at QB. Their passing game is now scattershot, at best, without him.

And he scrambles and goes NOWHERE. He looks like he has that "I'm gonna prove I'm a passer" mentality, and it's coming at the expense of just making good plays for his team. Not to mention, he's going sideline to sideline so much that his own linemen are getting gassed, which just makes things even worse on the next play.

Speaking of inexperienced QBs filling in for injured starters, Pike's backup just made a terrible decision. Big chance for USF, but can they take advantage of it?
