I think this should be celebrated. They should all go back home and celebrate it. And then come back in legally. This is not an American holiday.

It's just a drinking holiday made up by the beer companies. I'm going down to our Mexico office tomorrow and mentioned Cinco de Mayo to my contact down there. She laughed and said that was bigger for us than it is for them. They don't even celebrate it.

When I was working in Monterrey Mexico, they did celebrate it, but not like what you would think. All the clubs and bars promoted it, but it is not like the 4th of July or anything in the US.

Besides who need to Cico De Mayo with the Oscar/Mayweather fight tonight. Man I can not wait to see this.

Damn I forgot it was cinco de mayo. It's bad enough there are 2 proms going on today at work. I swear if I have a bunch of punk prom kids and I get some drunks at the park I am whipping out the O.C. spray. Taste some mace people! Counting down the minutes to me going into work 2hr 30mins. :biggrin:

Seriously this is the day of celebrating Mexicos final defeat of the French army, as if that was hard to do. :slappy:
