Francona is a no doubter HOF clubhouse manager but he could use a better bench coach.

Myers fucked this game up. Routine fly ball on the warning track not caught because he was afraid of the Wrigley wall, which it did not even reach. I'm sure it was scored a triple, but that's a fucking error.

Cubs look for real this year. Team BA of .26 and a team ERA under 4. In 2026 those are damn good numbers. They still have a few bats that haven't quite woken up too.

I don't have the energy to waste any sports teams anymore but I remember one game that fueled my disgust against them. 1984, they had just traded for Dennis Eckersley and he was starting against Mario Soto, Wrigley field. Ron Cey hit a long fly ball down the left field line that was at first called a home run then over ruled. It lead to a bench clearing brawl. I'll never forget that game. I also remember a Mario Soto game against the Cubs at Riverfront. Soto struck out 4 Cubs in one inning. One batter, forgot who, reached first on a passed ball on strike 3. Then there was the Tom Browning game where he snuck out of the stadium to watch the game from the rooftop. 80's baseball memories. I saw all 3 games as they happened
