So, the Reds call up a catcher known for his defense/arm....
The slowest runner on the team is on 3rd base in the 10th.
Tito is hesitant to pinch-run, because it would put the defensive minded catcher in a 'tough' spot in the 11th with a free runner and handling Ashcraft? Oh. OK.

Pinch run. Go up by 2 and don't worry about the motherfucking free runner.

I like Tito and I believe he's a HOF manager because of the cumulative effect he has on molding the team/clubhouse but on a day in day out tactical level, he is as absolutely ate up with the dumbass as any manager I have ever seen.

He blamed a particular brain fart on age in a recent interview. So they just need Benevides to keep his wits engaged and start making some tactical moves.

Walking Andujar was the easiest move ever. Friedl hasn't done anything since the go-ahead hit against the cubs 2 or 3 weeks ago.

They might eek out this win today. But this year was for introducing this team to Master Tito so he can see what's needed and get to work with the front office to bring in missing parts in the offseason. They nailed it with K-Hayes, did okay with Andujar, and meh with Littel. Hopefully, they'll have a good offseason.
