Yep, he finally escaped. But he seemed to have no idea, tonight, about how to locate effectively. His sliders were 3 feet outside and in the dirt and his fastballs were belt high or a little higher, and over the middle of the plate. No strategy, let's just see if you can hit this beach ball (oops, it turns out you can hit it)! I vaguely remember him painting the black on occasion this season. But he deserved to get rocked tonight.

You are never going to be on every night. He’s been very good this year and battled his way through an inning against the middle of the best lineup in the NL when his slider left him.

That’s what a pro does. I’ll take it.

Obviously too soon to say, but he could be the type of Superstar some baseball fans have been clamoring for.

Trout is an amazing player, but he's kind of low key.

DLC seems like the type of dynamic player with superstar potential who could really inject tons of excitement into the sport. Ohtani has that type of juice too.

I think MLB should take a page from the NBA and make sure Ohtani and ELDC both play together.
