Cincinnati Reds 2019 season (Black Hole)

The Pirates didn’t throw at his head two months ago. Feel free to share the video and prove me wrong. I’m no big fan of Hurdle but Bell is a clown and his players are following his lead. There’s a reason Bell’s been ejected 8 times (leads MLB) already this season. He’s an embarrassment to the game.
Better than boston

your whore mouth. shut it.

I actually think it is.

Trammel was a vastly overrated prospect imo.

Bauer is a solid #3 SP type who you can flip at trade deadline in '20 or give a QO and get your draft pick.

Now, to be fair, it would help if they were better at identifying/drafting talent when they flip him or get the pick for him but that's another story.

Very unlikely that anyone will sign Bauer if he gets a QO unless he backs off his often stated plan to only sign one year deals. Teams today won’t see any positive value in giving up a draft pick for a one year contract.

With the looming strike who knows how market conditions will be. I do feel that if you, as a GM, have a healthy, productive (big IF's) #3 starter type, you should be able to turn that into equal or greater value.

Hell, maybe they actually spend the money and just keep him with a QO. Who knows?

I will argue all day long that the organization has more talent headed into 2020 with Bauer in and Trammel out, than it would have by holding on to Trammel and letting Puig walk.
