I watched the last 2 AB's of Suarez.

Hopelessly late on every fastball

2 months in and I can't figure out what the hell the team approach is but the results would seem to indicate that it is a poor one.

OBP is astounding. There are 79 guys in the MLB who have better OBP than the Reds' best guy at getting on base (Suarez, Dietrich doesn't have enough ABs to qualify). For just NL, Suarez' OBP would tie him for 42nd.

Making matters worse, only Suarez and Iglesias are in the top 100, as Jax's boy Gizmo checks in at 102 - despite being the OBP champion 7 times over 9 years (2010-2018). Tough to score runs when you only have 4 guys (including Dietrich) who are on base better than 30% of the time.

I saw someone in the fantasy league picked him (Votto) up after I cut him.

Don't do it.

father time is undefeated, there is no big rebound coming. He's been a base clogging slap hitter for a year and half. It isn't going to get any better.
