I hate baseball. The Reds suck. Baseball has no salary cap, making it a joke. As much as I’d like to see the Reds do well, I’m not an idiot. The odds are slim. It takes a perfect, stacked farm system to win in Cincinnati. The Reds are awful and what awaits them in return? Best case? A number 1 pick and a surefire stud sitting there. What’s that gonna get them? A few years of rooting for the stud before he bolts for money the Reds can’t offer. Yippee. Or the Reds pay that guy and can’t afford to pay anyone else giving us pretty much a team like we have now, plus that one good player.

No sport is perfect but football is far closer than baseball or the laughingstock that is the NBA when it comes to a level playing field.
