funny how that many guys can be good enough to be part of winning teams...... once they leave Cincinnati
Pirates cast off Charlie Morton just became the first pitcher EVER to win two game sevens in the same postseason. The Bucs unloaded him to Philadelphia in 2015 for the immortal David Whitehead.
Beat that.
But Jax.....I've never heard of 3 out of 4 of those people. The Cincinnati Reds trade outfielder Frank Robinson to the Baltimore Orioles, in exchange for the pitchers Milt Pappas and Jack Baldschun and the outfielder Dick Simpson

Reds leave Trevor Hoffman, a top prospect, unprotectected in the expansion draft and watch him put up hall of fame numbers?
Votto loses NL MVP to Stanton 302-300, one of the narrowest margins in history. One voter had Votto 5th, another 6th.
all kinds of Reds organizational survivors in the ALDS

Good examples, and you have my sincere condolences. But Charlie freakin' Morton? Doing something no pitcher has EVER done in MLB postseason history, and it's a positive thing?
