Beer is God's proof that he loves us.
At least JK Dobbins got over 100 yards rushing.

I'm all for hiring a new HC. But sadly, that won't change what's fundamentally wrong.
The massive TV media rights deal means that 0 fans can show up to Paycor and the Brown family can still several hundred million a year. There is no incentive for Brown to try at this point. And he knows the fans will never not show up. Everyone in Cincy has talked about the Bengals all day, sure its for negative reasons, but they're talking. And the excuse at the back of the minds of most is, "what if Burrow was playing", and they all know it. Brown offers hope, and that's enough to keep butts in seats and eyes on TVs.I'm all for hiring a new HC. But sadly, that won't change what's fundamentally wrong.
Its not Zac Taylor that refuses to expand the scouting dept.
Its not Zac Taylor that refuses to spend money on top tier free agents.
And it's not Zac Taylor that negotiates contracts.
That's all on the ownership. And as i've said repeatedly over the years, it's not going to substantially change once SoP has passed.
The Bengals are who we know they are. Wyche tried to change things and they let him go. Carson Palmer tried to get them to change and they let him sit out and then traded him.
Ownership allowed Dave Shula to run the team into the ground for nearly a decade before they acted. Nothings going to change till and unless the fans act. When they stop going to games, buying merchandise and concessions, etc... Ownership "might" act.
But even then, it won't be much more than just shuffling chairs on the Titanic.
The worst part is that the Bengals are the only team out of the 3 with 2 VERY high priced and talented WRs, which makes it look even worse. The worst offenses in the league: Titans, Browns & Bengals and the gap from the rest of the league is growing...

The parallels between the Browns and the Monfort brothers (owners of the Colorado Rockies) are eerie; except that the Rockies fans attend even though they have no hope. The massive TV media rights deal means that 0 fans can show up to Paycor and the Brown family can still several hundred million a year. The Brown family will NEVER sell the team, they are literally royalty to the sport due to Paul Brown. Mike is and will always be cheap, that's why Taylor is going nowhere. I'd even say Burrow would be shown the door before Taylor. And Katie is every bit as bad as her dad, so the cycle will continue for the foreseeable future.
So do Bengals fans. The Super Bowl bought false hope for another 20yrsThe parallels between the Browns and the Monfort brothers (owners of the Colorado Rockies) are eerie; except that the Rockies fans attend even though they have no hope.
