Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Despite the atrocity that occurred in the 4th round, we at least made two good picks after that in OT/OG Jalen Rivers (was pretty highly rated and fell to us somehow) and RB Tahj Brooks (two 1,000+ yard seasons and from what I have seen he looks like a talent). The glaring flaw in this draft class is we no DBs...we at least needed to draft a safety and I'm not sure what the plan is there other than a better front 7 will help the secondary.

They put there big money where they should have.

Hendrickson is getting greedy and is no spring chicken.
I understand and I believe Trey is in the wrong here. He signed a contract and he should live up to it.

However, it's no longer a question of who's right and who's wrong imo. Its about how the team is handling the situation.

This should have been resolved before it escalated into a distraction. One that's threatening to linger into camp and perhaps the start of the season.

They should have sat down with him and his agent before the draft. When/if it became obvious they weren't going to agree on an extension, they should have cut their losses and traded him.

They probably wouldn't have gotten everything they'd hoped for in a trade but his value is only going to go down the more other teams sense the Bengals desperation to salvage something out of this mess.

Weird. We play every AFC East team, but only one AFC West and one AFC South team. The scheduling rules aren't nearly what they used be. Way back when they put the 1's, 4's and 5's from the previous year against each other and 2's and 3's against each other.

The furthest road game is Denver and we don't go overseas, which adds up to the lowest number of travel miles in the NFL this season.
