I get this is supposed to be a rivalry game. But WTF is this!?! Idk how anyone could defend Chase after this. I'm a Steelers fan, and Chase is one of my favorite players in the NFL, but this is such a disgusting act

You think these guys are going to throw their bodies around and risk injury for a lost season...? Not hardly.

Expect to see a lot more lopsided loses. A lot more arm tackling. A lot more half-effort plays. A lot more alligator arms on our Wide Receivers. A lot more players going on IR to avoid playing. Etc...

The good news is the NFL can't ding is for intentionally losing the rest of the games, we are really just that bad. I didn't watch the game thank God, I'm just checking in on my fantasy scores from here on out.

Not defending Chase, but Ramsey was unnecessarily rough after an incompletion to Chase early in the game. No flag. It wasn't quite as late as the no-call roughing on Julian Sayin, but it was a cheap shot. I'm just saying it feels to me like that pissed Chase off and the animosity stuck with him into the 2nd half. Add this to the frustration with how his teammates are playing. Ramsey seems to have at least some history of cheap shots, after 5 minutes of searching. Not going to look further into it; not that important.

Yep, the altercation with AJ is one of those I saw on youtube. Looks like Ramsey likes to shove receivers from behind (total pussy) after the play is over, which is what he did to Chase. But the shove he gave Chase yesterday was more violent than what I've seen on youtube.

I know you’re not trying to defend him, but Ramsey’s play still doesn’t call that. But tbh, this is Ramsey’s MO. He talks trash to throw his man off of his game on purpose. He’s a troll, I’m sure he knew something would happen because he was looking for it to happen. But it still doesn’t excuse spitting on any human. And as a professional athlete you should know that your opposition is going to do something to throw you off. Heck I would do that in HS and I wasn’t close to the talent of any of these guys. But Id talk about your mom, dad, dead grandma, cat, dog, etc so you think more about me than the game. Heck, Ramsey was known for looking up the gf of opposing WRs in college and would DM them. It’s his strategy, but spitting on him crossed the line

I don’t know why the line gets drawn at spitting but there are no words that can be said that cross that same line? I disagree with that. You want to talk that kind of personal shit about someone’s mother, wife, family and they are supposed to sit there and take it? Fuck that. At some point, it falls under “fuck around and find out.” When you act like a dickhead, you can’t be surprised when someone retaliates.

Ramsey is no victim here and normalizing this kind of behavior is pretty gross. He’s a punk who was asking for Chase to do something and he got exactly what he wanted.

Chase should still be suspended because you can’t spit on a guy and get away with it, but Ramsey can fuck off. Don’t want people to spit on you, don’t be a fucking asshole all the time.

Ha, that's funny - quite the dedication. But I doubt trash talk was what ultimately got to Jamarr. Indeed, I'm sure he can hold his own in a trash talking exchange, lol. I was busy so I had one eye on the game sometimes and wasn't watching attentively. But I saw the cheap shot and I know he took exception to it. I saw both interactions in the 2nd half, and it wasn't just talk that caused scuffle.

Yeah, I saw nothing of a cheap shot. And it looked no different than Downs or McClain hitting a guy when a ball hits his hands. It was just football to me. DBs hit WRs all the time who drop balls. It’s not cheap, it’s part of the game
And why I say it was talk, is because that’s what Ramsey is known for. I can easily see a player getting annoyed by someone constantly talking trash and being frusterated by his teams play.
